Transfer news: Juventus agree £72.5m Arthur deal

Juventus are ready to bring Arthur Mello from Barcelona to the team. Italian media say the Bianconeri have also offered to spend £72.5m for the Brazilian. Then the rest depends on Arthur’s personal will.

Last month, there was a rumor that Arthur and Juventus’ Miralem Pianich had a swap deal. Arthur himself then made it clear to the two clubs that he had no intention of leaving Barাa. However, Juventus did not give up hope of adding Arthur to Mauricio’s side.

Italian media are claiming that Juventus want Arthur to do the same thing as Georgino did in Chelsea and Napoli under the row. The 23-year-old Brazilian midfielder joined Barcelona in 2018. Juventus have also offered him a higher salary than Barcelona to sign Arthur. According to him, the Brazilian will earn about 5 million euros a year.

The agreement between the two parties could be reached by June. However, Juventus’ sporting director Fabrizio Paratichi has denied the allegations. However, he has directly stated his desire to add Arthur to the team.

Since the season in La Liga is not over, and the Champions League is also in August, the transfer is unlikely to be completed very quickly. And Arthur’s own will play a big role here. But in the next few days, rumors about Arthur’s possible reshuffle may be more.
