Florian Wirtz is the youngest goalscorer in Bundesliga history to score at just 17 years and 34 days old.
His club Leverkusen, however, lost 4-2 to defending champions Bayern Munich in Saturday’s match. However, in the last part of the match, the teenage footballer took the place in the record book by beating the goalkeeper of Bayern with a nice curved shot.

In terms of age, he overtook former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Shahin in terms of goals. Earlier, in 2005, Shahin scored a goal against Nuremberg at the age of 17 years and 82 days and became the youngest goal scorer. Florian was only two years old at the time.
At the end of the game, Leverkusen coach Peter Bose said: “We already know Florian is a genius. He proved it in the previous match.
